SEVENTH WEEK in a row of prank calls drowning out the legit ones. Lizzy tells me we can't move to a 10pm slot until we prove the calls are organic and "the people on the other end aren't friends of yours pretending to be strangers." HOW DO YOU PROVE THAT???

The cold open this week was a TOTAL DISASTER on the production side. I'm not even gonna talk about it because it's funnier when Lizzy tells the story. She wrote about it on her page and i've never been more publicly humiliated. read it. live laugh love etc.

2am IS NOT a real timeslot. 2am is when prank callers wake up and call you because theyre too high to drive to taco bell. It's where shows that DON'T command an audience get shoved.

This show commands an audience. The audience just happens to be ASLEEP at 2am: that's all i'm saying.

The old man came into town last weekend. He didn't catch our show while he was here. He said he'd try to find it next time. He's been saying this for like two years.

(I mean, in his defense the episode airs at 2am on a thursday. but he could TAPE it. The man owns three VCRs.)
