These three words encapsulate the spirit of The Creative Media & Digital Culture Program (CMDC) in the Department of Digital Technology and Culture at Washington State University Vancouver. It integrates research and learning in an intellectually-diverse, technologically innovative experience, applying inter-and transdisciplinary approaches that foster civic engagement from local-to-global contexts in the areas of digital humanities, media art, media communication, media studies, information systems.
We offer six specialties that include: 1) Web & mobile design & development; 2) Game studies & design; 3) 2 & 3D animation and video production; 4) UX /UI; 5) Video production; 6) Social media & SEO strategy; and 6) Physical computing, including Virtual and Augmented Reality.
