This happened at my work yesterday, and I don't really have anyone else to talk to about this. At the place I work, I'm the only one who's supposed to be there on my shift. As it is, some people manage to find their way in, and usually if I find them I just tell them they're not supposed to be there and lead them out. Sometimes though, they refuse to leave and I have to call security. This time was weird though. I was working and he just came sprinting around a corner and nearly knocked me over, scared the hell out of me. He started babbling about "eyes in the tunnels" whatever that's supposed to mean. I tried to calm him down, but I was freaking out! I was worried he was nuts and was going to stab me or something, but he seemed more scared than anything. I offered to walk him to the exit, but he just broke down and started sobbing and trying to grab onto my leg.
I didn't really know what else to do so I called security. If you haven't seen them yet, they are creepy af. They wear this black body armor and have these tinted face shield things so you can't see what they look like. I hate having to call them, but I didn't know what else I could do. They got there really fast, and they didn't even ask any questions or try to talk to the guy, they just hit him over the head and dragged him out. I felt really terrible about it! Should I have done something else? Maybe tried to talk to him? The stuff he was yelling about is kind of weirding me out now.
A catharsis for the frustrated moral philosopher in all of us, and a place to finally find out if you were wrong in an argument that's been bothering you. Tell us about any non-violent conflict you have experienced; give us both sides of the story, and find out if you're right, or you're the asshole.

NTA, you're not a psychiatrist, what the heck were you supposed to do about some crazy guy?

Definitely NTA, you did the right thing. When someone violates Apollo's rules, they deserve swift justice. The security team was right in taking him into custody before he could hurt himself or others.

Are you nuts? That guy probably had some mental problem and those Apollo goons just beat him up and took him somewhere

Apollo Energy has done so much for our city, who do you think you are criticizing their methods? We wouldn't even be where we are today without them
