reality and life aren't perfect but social media often pretends they are.

BEHIND THE FEED was built to reveal the truth and to remind others that what you see online isn't the full story.

Communicating this message through a fake social media feed allows this message to get across stronger.

We wanted our code to replicate a social media feed with the correct layout and working features, something that a standard website wouldn't be able to communicate accurately.

We planned the replicated layout, posts, and features using Figma and classic HTML, CSS and Java. When creating 'Dark Mode' later on, we used Claude AI for assistance.

Initially, it was difficult to figure out how we wanted to display our Home Page layout in desktop view. After some thinking, we were able to create an effective and user-friendly layout.
