The inside of the printed cover is spread with adhesive, and the finished signature is affixed.

The book is then placed in a book press to keep it flattened as the adhesive dries.

Once the adhesive has set, the book is removed from the press.

The discs are inserted into the flyleaf pockets.

A typewriter is used to fill out release information on a library card, and the library card is also stamped with the release date.

The library card is signed with the name of the recipient and is then inserted into the book.
