This Smash Brothers is a weird entry. This edition of Smash Brothers was released on two systems. The Wii U and the 3ds. Both games have the same engine and character roster. However, everything else is different. This was a smart move on Nintendo’s part. Most hardcore fans of the series will buy both copies and Nintendo will earn more money. The 3ds edition sold 3.2 million copies while the Wii U edition sold 5.35 million copies worldwide. In total, that’s more than 8.5 million copies sold! The game was adored by the casual players and the competitive players. However, the competitive players only used the Wii U edition because no one wants to play on a small screen. Smash 4 introduced Downloadable content that cost real money. Some of the content included new characters and stages.
Many of the features found in Brawl are in Smash Wii U such as Snapshots, online sharing, and playing with friends online. Back in March, the latest game in this long running series was revealed and its just about to come out.
