Hello! My name is Brooke A. Nugent. I chose to make my website about COVID-19, because I think it's important to spread facts, not fear. We all need to work together to end this pandemic! COVID-19 is so widely discussed right now, and it's crazy to think that I'm experiencing a historical moment firsthand.
This website may seem pretty simple, but please keep in mind that I created it during the COVID-19 pandemic, in which we recieved a stay-at-home order. HTML, CSS, and really any kind of coding is all pretty new to me, so the fact that all classes had to be conducted online or through Zoom just added another layer of challenge. Despite these setbacks, I had a lot of fun playing around with the different design elements - I even made all the little illustrations! Overall, I feel a great deal of satisfaction in completing this website, and I hope you enjoy it!
