This project responds to the research question, "How, using using current-day digital technology, might we interpret poetry from the 1960s?" By way of an answer, "The XXI Century Brautiganism: A Visual Poem" is both interpretation and visual performance. It was part of a live performance in the spring 2010 on the Washington State University Vancouver campus as well as a stand-alone art work at an outdoor exhibit during the month of June 2010 in downtown Vancouver. It is currently part of the "Autumn Trout Gathering" exhibit at the Clark County Historic Museum in conjunction with the opening of the new Brautigan Library Collection.
